Navigating and working offline

Start navigation along a route, use GPS without internet, and save map areas for offline use.

MilMap navigates using GPS — that works without internet too. Just make sure you've loaded the route and the map area in advance.

    Open a route map

    Open the map with your route and choose Navigate.

    Start navigation

    Tap Start navigation. Your position, speed, and distance to the route are tracked live.

Saving a map offline

Use Offline · this view to download the visible area as map tiles. That keeps the map sharp, even without coverage. When you open a route, the tiles along the route are automatically saved at navigation zoom level.

Field tip

Download the area and open the route while you still have a connection. Once offline, GPS keeps working as normal.
