Creating, editing, and deleting missions

The full lifecycle of a mission: creating it, filling in the warning order, editing, sharing, and deleting.

Last updated on July 12, 2026

A mission bundles everything that belongs to an operation: the order (SMEAC), tasks, a linked map, participants, a timeline, and communications. Here's how a mission works from start to finish.

Creating a mission

  1. 1

    Open Missions

Tap Missions in the bottom bar, then tap New mission.

  2. 2

    Choose where the mission lives

Choose Drive (cloud, on all your devices), Local (this device only — works offline), or Import from a file.

  3. 3

    Name the mission

Enter a title and confirm with Create.

Drive or Local?

Working without a connection? Choose Local — the mission stays entirely on your device and is guaranteed to work offline. Drive missions live in the cloud and can be shared with your team.

Filling in the warning order

Right after creation, the warning order opens. Fill in the six paragraphs — Situation, Mission, Execution, Administration & logistics, Command & signal, and the time of orders. Once these are complete, the mission tabs (O-group, Map, Comms, Tasks, Timeline, Files, Debrief) unlock.

The wizard walks you through the six SMEAC paragraphs.

Editing a mission

Open a mission and use the tabs at the top. Changes are saved automatically. Use the status button at the top to set the mission to Planning, Active, or Completed.

  • O-group — the full order (SMEAC) with participants.
  • Tasks — assign tasks with priority and deadline.
  • Map — link a map and follow live participants.
  • Comms — the encrypted mission chat.

Sharing a mission

For a Drive mission, add participants via Participants: manually or via a linked user. Each participant gets a role (view, edit, or manage).

Deleting a mission

  1. 1

    Open More options

Tap More options (three dots) at the top right of the mission.

    Open More options
  2. 2

    Choose Delete

Confirm the deletion. A Drive mission is removed from the cloud for all participants.

    Choose Delete

Caution

Deletion is permanent. If you want to keep the data, export the mission first or archive the tasks.
