Chatting in a mission
Send and read messages in the encrypted mission chat, and understand what is and isn't end-to-end secured.

Every mission has its own group chat under the Comms tab. Text messages are end-to-end encrypted: only the participants can read them.

Open Comms
Open the mission and go to the Comms tab. Tap the group chat.

Type your message
Write in the input field at the bottom and send it with the send button.

Replying and reading
New messages appear automatically. Previously loaded messages remain readable offline as well.
What is encrypted?
Text messages are end-to-end encrypted. Attachments, voice messages, and locations are transmitted securely but are not (yet) end-to-end encrypted. Keep this in mind when sharing sensitive files.
Sending while offline
Without a connection you get a clear notice ("Sending failed") instead of a message silently disappearing. As soon as you're back online, you can resend it.
