The Sennybridge Training Area is an extensive military training area in the heart of Wales, in the county of Powys to the north of the Brecon Beacons. The area is managed by the British Army and serves as one of the most important training locations for infantry and navigation exercises in the United Kingdom. Units use the high, wet Welsh moorland to prepare for operations in rough and inhospitable terrain.
