The Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area is one of the largest military training areas in Poland, located in the West Pomerania region. The area is managed by the Polish Land Forces and is a popular location for large-scale NATO exercises. Because of its size, it offers room for mechanised manoeuvres, artillery and combined international training.
The landscape consists of rolling hill country, dense coniferous forest, scattered lakes and sweeping open fields, creating a varied training environment. This diversity makes the terrain suitable for a wide range of scenarios, from reconnaissance to battalion-level combat exercises. In international cooperation, MGRS is the standard for exchanging positions. On this page you'll find the MGRS zone, terrain features and an interactive map and 3D view.
