The Infantry Firing Range (ISK) Harskamp in the middle of the Veluwe has been where Dutch infantry build their marksmanship for over a century — from first-time range practice to compound and combat shooting. The camp near the village of Harskamp has dozens of ranges and borders the Harskampse Zand, one of the largest active drift sands in Europe.
The combination of drift sand, heath and pine forest makes the terrain varied, and elevation differences of up to 55 metres give fields of fire and observation genuine relief.
