Google Maps includes My Maps, a feature that lets you create custom maps with paths and markers and export them as KML. Import Google Maps routes into MilMap to enrich them with MGRS coordinates and professional operational features. Export MilMap routes as KML to view them in Google Maps or share them via Google My Maps.

How does the integration work?
Create a route in Google My Maps
Go to mymaps.google.com → "Create a new map" → use "Add a line" to draw routes.
Export as KML
Click the three dots next to the map layer → "Export to KML" → choose KML (not KMZ for better compatibility).
Import into MilMap
"Import" → select the KML file. All paths and points are converted to routes and waypoints.
Export from MilMap to Google Maps
MilMap → export as KML → import into Google My Maps via "Import".
